I am Tazreen and welcome to my another The Sims 3 Store Review of Surf's Up Sun and Fun Collection. It was released today, August 1st and the cost of this set is 1,200 Simpoints (it's on sale) until August 9th so hurry up and groove with with the fresh,awesome-looking set!
There is one premium content included in this set- 1) Surf’s Up Sun & Fun Wave Station.There are 18 CAS items included and two Buy Mode objects.
Although this set may look simple, it has nice CAS swimwear but no items for teens. If you have Island Paradise installed, this set is perfect for Isla Paradiso or Sunlit Tides, but i wish they included something more in this set like some casual outfits. Let's have a look at the premium content.
PREMIUM CONTENT
Surf’s Up Sun & Fun Wave Station.
There are two items included with this premium content- 1) Wave Station 2) Surfboard. You can use it in oceans,pools, ponds but you must have the surfboard in your sim's inventory.The surfboard can be customized.
I like the wave station but one thing that is quite saddening is, it's too big for a pool but perfect for oceans, and if your sim is surfing there, her/his athletic skill improves.I wish there could be a new skill. The size of it is 12x9. There is one interaction- Surf but your sim can perform three different tricks- Cutback, Handstand, Hang Ten.There's a seal in the wave station, it can't go out of it.While you sim surfs, it will strike your sim and your sim will get a moodlet and the surfboard will be damaged.Below you can see some tricks performed by my sim
1) Hang Ten
2) Handstand
3) Cutback
And....
Oh no! That bad seal damaged my sim's surfboard. Keep in mind that the surfboard can no longer be used by the sim. So, your sim needs to buy another one from the buy mode.
